Our School(s)

Elmer Consolidated District No. 1

Elmer Consolidated​ District No. 1 was formed in 1904 with the consolidation of the existing Elmer school and the Gunnels and Mercyville school districts. A vote was held in the three districts as to whether or not to consolidate. The vote passed and a new school house was built. Click here to see the 1904 article regarding this election.

The schools listed below constitute the country schools that are frequently mentioned by residents of Elmer since many folks residing around or in the community either went to these schools or had relatives that did.
